About Stoke-on-Trent
The city of Stoke-on-Trent boasts a rich industrial and artistic history. Known as the "Potteries" for its rich ceramics heritage, our city is home to iconic manufacturers like Wedgwood and Royal Doulton, as well as attractions such as the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, which houses the Staffordshire Hoard.
Despite our industrial roots, Stoke-on-Trent is also one of the greenest cities in the UK. It features numerous parks and green spaces, including Trentham Gardens, a major UK tourist destination.
The city is centrally located in the heart of the UK, providing a fantastic network of rail connections and convenient motorway links. There are also over 150km of cycle routes, providing the opportunity to explore our rivers, canals, and greenways.
In addition, Stoke-on-Trent is undergoing major regeneration, enhancing our transport links and creating new opportunities, making Stoke-on-Trent a vibrant city full of promise and potential.
